The Story
On Costa Rica Time captures the peaceful sunset ritual on a beach in Santa Teresa, Costa Rica. Locals and travellers gather to watch the sun go down every evening, creating a sense of calm and connection. Richard was inspired by how people seemed to stop whatever they were doing to be part of this shared experience. His black-and-white photo shows people sitting on the sand, framed by palm trees, as they unwind and take in the moment's beauty. On Costa Rica Time is a reminder to slow down, relax, and be present.
