October Sky was taken on a rally through California’s Central Coast, during a quick stop on one of the best roads no one’s allowed to know about. The Ford GT in frame was wrapped in a full NASA livery and parked for just a moment in front of rolling hills and crisp blue sky. Everything about the scene felt big and cinematic, but the shot itself had to be rushed. One frame, taken fast, then edited that night out of pure excitement. Named after a film about chasing impossible dreams, the photo brings together the feeling of open roads, military roots, and a full-circle moment with NASA. This one is personal.
