With family in Wyoming, I’ve been lucky to grow up surrounded by natural beauty, from the beaches of Southern California to the peaks of the Rocky Mountains.

This tree erupts into soft pink blossoms for just a few days each April before fading back into green. On a quiet spring morning, Connor was at the perfect time, just as the tree hit peak bloom.
Surrounded by the energy and movement of downtown New York, this peaceful moment reminds us that even in the city's heart, nature makes time to slow down and show off. Just two days later, the blossoms were gone. This image is a gentle reminder that life is always changing, and some of the most beautiful moments are also the briefest.
