The story behind the shot

richard’s journey to this scene began hours before sunrise. waking in the early dark with a friend, he set out along a serpentine route toward the lighthouse at cap de formentor—an iconic point in spain known for attracting both high-performance machines and seekers of beauty. However, it wasn’t the lighthouse that took his breath away. It was the return drive. From an elevated perspective, richard looked down—and paused.

“I didn’t realize the contrast at the time between the ocean and the road until i got my camera up... this is unbelievable.”
